This instructor led class introduces using XML in z/OS, how XML is used in COBOL programs, and Db2 XML concepts

Duration: Two Day, Instructor Led, and Labs.

Audience: This course is primarily directed toward new users of XML in a z/OS environment.

Prerequisites: Basic computer concepts, and basic knowledge about relational data management systems.

Workshops: z/OS platform will be used to run class problems coded by the students.

Course Objectives: After successful completion of this course, the student will be able to describe XML system concepts, the basic structures in XML and write basic XML statements using COBOL.

Class Material:Each student’s class book has the presentation slides with notes, as well as an exercise book with answer sets.
